It was another joyous day at the Surbiton Festival - after recent downpours it was with much trepidation that the organising committee were checking the weather forecast but thank goodness the weather gods were kind to us again
The Surbiton Festival Parade started at midday from St Andrews Road, led by the Royal Royal British Youth Marching Band and including Police Motorcycles, The Mayor, Surrey Freemasons, St Paul’s Players local Scouts, Cubs and Beavers, Kingston Spring Grove Morris Dancers, local Guides, Brownies, and Rainbow, Lucinda Walsh School of Dance, TS Steadfast Drum Corps and Sea Cadets, London Regiment, Police Cadets, Monkey Music, Surrey Jive Widows Sons Motorcycles, Classic Cars was a joyful celebration of local community groups

Claremont Gardens had a fantastic atmosphere courtesy of all the children's activities laid on by Glenmore House plus plenty of food provided by the Dough Shack, Giggly Pig & Chimney Baker
Stallholders down Victoria Road & St Andrews Road provided a wide range of artisan items such as art, clothes, jewellery, candles and also community groups and charities proving information about how you can get involved.
